Tibet Everest base camp is the popular and exciting trek to the base camp of the world highest mountain Mt. Everest from the Tibetan side. This trek offers the outstanding Himalayan scenery including Mt. Everest 8848m, culture of the Tibet, Tibetan monastery including Potala Durbar (palace) as well as the Himalayan landscapes and Tibetan plateau, the highest plateau of the world. In this trek you visit the Potala Durbar (palace), the highest palace of the world, at Lhasa. From the top of the Palace you can observe the view of the Lhasa city. There you can you can explore the history of Buddhism. During the Tibet Everest base camp trek, you visit the many Tibetan monasteries including Tashi lunpo monastery which is the home of Panchen lama, Palkhor monastery, Derpung monastery, Rongbuk monastery etc. you also visit the ancient Jokhang temple, Yok hang temple which was built in 7th century during the period of Sontson Gombo. In this trek you can enjoy the views of the towering mountains like Mt. Everest also called Chomolungma in Tibetan language, Gyan Kung, Cho Oyo etc.
You begin your Tibet Everest base camp trek with the flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa. There you visit the historical and cultural sites. Then you drive to Rongbuk from Lhasa and start the trekking to the Everest base camp. While travelling, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Tibetan plateau and visit different monasteries, temple as well as the famous places. From Rongbuk you can have the excellent view of the Rongbuk glacier below the massive north-face of Mt. Everest. The views of the Himalayan peaks as well as the glaciers in Tibet are most dramatic. In this trek you also cross the Lama La pass on the way. From the base camp you enjoy the views of the mountains like Everest- the highest of the world, Lhotse, Makaly, as well as other Tibetan Himalayas. The best season to go for the Tibet Everest base camp trek is from March to May and September to November.

Day 05: Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery – Gyantse (3975m) 2 hrs
Day 06: Gyantse – Lhasa (3490 m) 6-7 hrs
Day 07 – 08: Sightseeing tour Lhasa
Day 09: Lhasa – Kathmandu OR to Main Land China
