The inhabitants of the upper Buri Gandaki region are known as the Nuri; their language and dress are quite similar to the neighbouring Tibetans. These local Himalayan people still earn their living through trade with Tibet. The mountain views from Nupri are sensational and crossing the Larke La pass is one of the most beautiful and dramatic of the Himalayas.
Similar to many other trekking routes in Nepal, Manaslu Trekking has many routes to choose from. One option passes through Dudh Pokhari, a milky lake that is a common pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Buddhists alike. Another route takes you up to Manaslu Base Camp. While the most popular option is to trek over the Larke La pass to arrive in the Marsyandi valley in the Annapurna region.
Note: This trek requires minimum 2 people in a group special permit from immigration department of Nepal.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1310m/4264ft.)
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing day
Day 03: Kathmandu to Arughat, drive to soti khola 7/8 hours drive
Day 04: Trek to Machha Khola (890m.), 6/7 hours walk
Day 05 Machha Khola to Jagat: (1,350m):
Day 06 Trek Jagat to Filim: (1590m):
Day 07 Trek Filim to Deng:
Day 08 Trek Deng to Namru (2,630).
Day 09 Trek Namru to Lo village (3,150).
Day 10 Trek Lo village to Sama Gaun: (3,500m):
Day 11 Trek Sama Gaun (Rest day for acclimatization):
Day 12 Trek Sama Gaun to Samdo
Day 13 Samdo to Dharmasala
Day 14 Dharmasala to Larkya La/Bimtang: (3720m):

Day 17 Beshisahar to kathmandu by bus/jeep
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu (1,310m/426ft)
On this particular day you will land on Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu where you will be warmly received by the representative staffs from Beyond the Limits Treks and Expedition. From TIA, you will be transferred into the hotel in a comfortable vehicle. These tiny things show how much we care for you. Arriving in the hotel we will be discussed on the detail itinerary. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing day
This is an important day where you get to sightseeing Kathmandu in the proper guidance of our guide. Since you have lots of things to sight we will be heading in an early morning. There used to an artistic and valuable Durbar Square, at present those monuments are in critical state though it is equally valued. In Kathmandu you can observe numerous cultural heritage sites which are listed in UNESCO, counting Swyambhunath, Bouddhanath and Pashupatinath. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Arughat 6-7hrs drive
On the following day you will leave Kathmandu about 6.30 am drive to Arughat. Arughat Bazaar, another popular destination of Gorkha district and take local jeep and drive to sotikhola . Stay overnight in lodge.
Day 04: Trek to Machha Khola (890m) 6-7hrs walk
On the next day you will begin to trek Machha Khola and it will consume 6 to 7 hours of walk. You will move into the thick forest crossing broad and narrow valley with small villages. The terrace which will come to appear belong to Lapbesi. Then, you will ascend the trail to Machha Khola and you will set the camp outside of the village. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 05: Machha Khola to Jagat (1,350m)
Passing Machha Khola you will arrive at the village of Khola Bensi and Tatopani you will switch to suspension bridge. You will feel the trekking trail somewhat challenging you will cross Doban you will come across the extensive gravel bed. Again passing the suspension bridge you will take upward to Jagat. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 06: Trek Jagat to Filim (1,590m)
From Jagat you will head to Filim after taking breakfast. At first you will take upward and downward movement. Then, the trail will again make you to scale up where you will get to view pleasant setting of nature. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 07: Trek Filim to Deng
Taking downward movement passing the river you will ascend to Saguleri and from here you can capture the sight of Sringi Himal. For another time you will pass from Gata Khola viewing Ganesh Himal. Thus, you will pass the river time and again which will make you avoid the tricky valley sides and finally you will turn up at Deng after 7 hours of extensive walk. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 08: Trek Deng to Namru (2,630m)
Moving all through the Alpine area, adding the views of mountains with some mani walls will take you to Namru. Before that you will also pass the Buri Gandaki and over the village you can enjoy the beautiful village with extensive pastures. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 09: Trek Namru to Lo Village (3,150m)
Approaching elevated altitude you will enter into the Alpine territory and the trail will make you pass large stream which flow downward to Lindanda Glaciers. Then, you will arrive to the Tibetan village called Sho. Continuing the trek will take you to Lho, the large village where you can see monastery and several Manis and Chortens. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 10: Trek Lo Village to Sama Gaun (3,500m)
On the following day you will go after the right side of the river where you can observe 29 peaks. Samagaon will take you all through Sho, Lho, and Shyala villages where you are gifted with interesting chortens and sights into Himalayan culture. At Lho you can perceive great views of Mt. Manaslu and together with Himal Chuli, Ngadi Chuli, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 11: Rest day for acclimatization
You are staying in an attractive village and today as a part of acclimatization you can take rest and prepare for upcoming trickiness. Though it is a day for rest you can hike Manaslu Base Camp or Punggyen Gompa. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 12: Trek Sama Gaun to Samdo
On the following day you will trek towards Manaslu Glacier all through the forests occupied by birch, juniper and rhododendron. You will ascend and stroll below a stone arch to Samdo. Samdo, the trekking trail divides to the Tibetan border. So, be ready to have amazing scene at Samdo. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 13: Samdo to Dharmasala
On the following day you will leave Samdo and head to trek Dharmasala where the level of difficulty will add. Covering higher altitude and viewing Larkya Glacier you will take upward all through the juniper forests. Creating the way to Salka Khola will make you ascend to Larke Phedi. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 14: Dharmasala to Larkya La/ Bimtang (3,720m)
This is the highlight of the trek which demands some puzzle and you will start the trek viewing Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. Taking ascend gradually through the snow enclosed rock and intense Larkya La Pass. Observing outstanding sight of Kangguru, Himlung, Annapurna II and Cheo will take you downward to Bimtang. Here, you can outlook impressive appearance of Mount Manaslu. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 15: Bimtang to Tilje
Trekking downward towards Tilje will make you sense a trouble less trek. Again viewing remarkable panoramas of astonishing peak you will continue the trek. The forest, the pasture land all will greet you and will take you to Gurung village which is known as Tilje. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 16: Tilje to Dharampani (1,860m) jeep to Beshisahar
From Tilje you will begin to trek and will arrive at Dharapani. From here, you will enter into Annapurna Circuit trail. Taking jeep you will drive to Beshisahar experiencing snaking trails and observing mighty scenes. Stay overnight in lodge.
Day 17: Beshisahar to Kathmandu by bus/jeep
From Beshisahar you will take jeep and start to drive Kathmandu. You will feel relax and enjoy the drive all along the bank of Marsyangdi and Trishuli river. Arriving at Kathmandu you will leave for your onward destination after ending the trip package.
